The Hub on Global Experiences of Gender in an Age of Care Crises and Transformations held its kick-off meeting on 11 January 2023.

The hybrid meeting, which was attended by hub members, aimed to start building the hub community via the members' self-introductions and an overview of the aims of the project and topics, and a brief introduction of the projects planned activities:

• Coordination, communication and management
• Building research community and capacity
• Hub research impact and funding strategy development
